Catherine Tilley is a doctoral student working on industrial sustainability under the supervision of Professor Steve Evans. Her focus is on decision-making in companies, with a particular interest in the ways in which decision-making processes support or hinder strategies for environmental and social sustainability. Her research interests
include: industrial sustainability, organisation design and behaviour, business model innovation, decision-making and change.
Catherine joined the IfM from the Institute for Sustainability Leadership where she was Director of Education, and she is extremely interested in the role education plays in driving industrial sustainability. Prior to this she worked for over 20 years in management consultancy, with a focus on strategy and organisation. She has an MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
