Ning Pan
Research Associate
Dr. Ning Pan is a Research Associate in Infrastructure Asset Management at the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory. Her research focuses on transportation engineering, particularly in the application of information technologies. This includes infrastructure asset performance sensing, assessment, and modelling; integrating emerging machine learning algorithms to enhance asset operations and maintenance; and generating and updating transportation infrastructure digital twins. She also has practical engineering experience in establishing intelligent analytic frameworks, methodologies, and decision-support tools to incorporate spatiotemporal decision-making processes into the operation of transportation systems by utilising multi-source data and domain knowledge.
