Biography

 

Tingrui Zhang is a dedicated Doctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge, specializing in the industrialization  ecosystem, industrial maturity assessments, advanced manufacturing systems, strategic management for sustainable industrial development, and pathways for global integration. His research focuses on advancing theoretical models and practical applications of the industrialization  process, aiming to bridge the gap between industry demands and sustainable, technology-driven solutions.

 

With over a decade of experience in government, NGOs and high-tech industry roles, Zhang has led initiatives that combine policy development, industrial planning, and digital transformation. As the Founder of Cambridge Global Consulting Limited, he champions innovation in talent circulation, high-tech project incubation and investment, international education support and data-driven strategies to support global economic growth and prosperity.

 

His extensive background includes strategic roles at Peking University and the National Development and Reform Commission in China, where he has driven impactful projects in data analysis, smart city infrastructure, and public policy advisory. His contributions to industry and policy development have attracted significant research funding, allowing him to explore transformative approaches to regional industrialization , the assessment of industrial maturity for businesses and territories, and scalable frameworks for cross-sector collaboration.
