Gordon Attenborough has joined the IFM as the Policy Lead for the Babbage Forum. Before arriving at Cambridge Gordon was most recently head of the Sectors and Strategic Engagement & Partnerships departments at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as well as being a member of the senior management team for their Knowledge Services Directorate. Specialising in cross sectorial, multidisciplinary strategies and activities; Gordon lead teams and their networks dedicated to collaborative innovation and thought leadership across Industry, Academia and Government.
With personal interest areas including technology and an ageing society, food manufacturing and robotics and autonomous Systems; Gordon was a member of the Food and Drink Engineering Forum and sat on the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Advisory Boards for both the EPSRC and KTN’s Special Interest Group.
