Research Area

Putri's research focuses on developing and implementing public sector roadmaps within the field of science, technology, and innovation (STI). She aims to address barriers hindering the successful execution of these roadmaps, which are essential for governments to navigate technological advancements and align policy frameworks with societal and economic goals. By integrating technology management approaches with concepts from innovation economics and political economy, her study will develop a refined roadmap framework that provides policymakers with adaptable decision-making tools tailored to national innovation systems.

Professional Background:

Putri's professional background spans various domains, demonstrating her exceptional skills and contributions to science, technology, and innovation (STI) through complex projects in both intergovernmental organisations and start-ups. Before starting her PhD, Putri served as a Science and Technology Officer at the ASEAN Secretariat, where she advanced STI policies across Southeast Asia. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders in this role enhanced her understanding of regional innovation systems and enabled her to contribute to technology-driven initiatives. This experience broadened her perspective on the global STI landscape and deepened her interest in policy development. Additionally, her roles as a co-founder and product manager in multiple start-ups showcase her expertise in project and technology management, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making, all of which have led to improved organisational performance.
