Sara AlMahri
Doctoral Student
Sara AlMahri is a PhD student at the Supply Chain and Artificial Intelligence lab (SCAIL) supervised by Professor Alexandra Brintrup at the University of Cambridge's Institute for Manufacturing. Her research area revolves around supply chain traceability and risk prediction, where she employs knowledge graphs to model and predict network interventions. Before starting her PhD, Sara was a senior researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute’s (TII) advanced materials research centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Sara has received her BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Khalifa University in the UAE, where she worked on the fabrication and design of 3D printed self-sensing materials. She has enriched her academic journey with training programs at international giants like Boeing in the US and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan. Sara's entrepreneurial spirit led her to win in the disruptive ideators of the Etisalat Pitch competition, where she worked on introducing multifunctionally to inventory management operations through the utilization of multifunctional smart materials. Her drive was further acknowledged with an award from Cambridge's Acorn Fund.
