Chiara is a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering at the University of Calabria, Italy, currently visiting the Supply Chain AI Lab led by Prof. Alexandra Brintrup at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on decision support systems based on cognitive digital twins and interfaces for resilient supply chain management.

Her previous work centred on human-centred AI for industrial settings, including alarm management and root cause analysis to deliver prescriptive, explainable insights to the workforce, within broader efforts towards the digital transformation of industry.

She holds a double master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Calabria and in Innovation and Product Management from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
