Darius is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Duncan McFarlane and part of the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory (DIAL) research group.
His research focuses on production line and factory level optimisations to improve factory responsiveness to changes in product volume and mix. Previous projects include heading up production and logistics for the University of Cambridge Covid-19 Asymptomatic Screening Programme.
Prior to starting his PhD, Darius completed the Manufacturing Engineering Tripos at the University of Cambridge, obtaining undergraduate and master’s degrees.
