Luning Li joined the DIAL lab, institute for manufacturing, as a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Ajith Parlikad. His research interests are digital twins, system engineering and asset management. He also has broad interests in integrated health management, operation management and smart manufacturing. His research focuses on developing a methodology and toolchain for ontology digital twins.
Background
Luning received his M.Sc. degree in business management from the University of Warwick; Before this, he had more than five years of work experience in one of China’s largest power companies as a maintenance engineer. In the past few years, he spent most of his time working on industrial digitalisation.
