
Peize Li received a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2017 and an MSc in the same field from the University of Birmingham in 2018. He then worked as a patent examiner at the China National Intellectual Property Administration, gaining expertise in IP law, patent search, and analysis. He later joined the National Technology Transfer Center at Xi’an Jiaotong University, focusing on university–industry collaboration and technology transfer. In 2024, he started his PhD at the IfM, under the supervision of Professor Frank Tietze. His research explores intellectual property strategies in the remanufacturing stage of the circular economy.
