Berk Dogan has joined CTM as a doctoral student, under the supervision of Dr Frank Tietze. Berk obtained his master's degree in Industrial Engineering focusing on technology transfer offices and university intellectual property. Prior to joining the IfM, he worked in patent consultancy and technology transfer.
During his PhD, he will be working on intellectual property data and intellectual property analytics. The research will focus on determining different types of available intellectual property data and utilising this data in strategic decision-making. Other research interests include predictive modeling, predictive analytics, business intelligence, and technology management.
