An introduction to the principles and practice of financial and management accounting, including the creation and analysis of financial accounts, investment appraisal and strategic management accounting.

Module learning outcomes
The course is designed to situate manufacturing practices and decisions in their financial context. The course aims to develop student understanding of the financial processes affecting corporate life - in particular, their understanding of the factors impinging upon individual and corporate decisions and of the financial aspects of organisations.
