Technology Management Decision Support Tools
Many structured methods (tools) are available to support technology, innovation and general management, such as the well known SWOT and balanced scorecard approaches.
Such methods provide the practical ‘nuts and bolts’ means for engaging with the organisation, to gather, explore, organise, analyse and communicate the information necessary for decision-making and management.
The Centre for Technology Management has been conducting research into management tools since 1993, exploring:
- The development of well-founded and effective management tools
- The nature and organisation of management tools and toolsets
- Visual methods for strategy and innovation
