Prize awarded to Tadas Kartanas at VitaScientia 2016

The 2nd Vita Scientia one day conference was held on the 4th of January 2016 at the Joint Centre for Life Sciences in Vilnius, Lithuania. The meeting had more than 350 participants and a wide range of interdisciplinary presentations with representatives from industry and academia.

 

Tadas Kartanas from Fluids in Advanced Manufacturing (FIAM) group, Knowles Group and the EPSRC CDT in NanoSciences gave an oral as well as a poster presentation. The talk was based on dry mass sensing concept used for label free protein detection. Results of low concentration bovine serum albumin (BSA) detection were presented. Congratulations to Tadas, who was selected as the 2nd best short oral presentation.
