The IfM's Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory has just published its first quarterly electronic newsletter.

The issue features news on a project which could see components scheduling their own maintenance, the latest academic publications and information on a series of upcoming events, including next month's  4th International Workshop on Asset Management.
