Xiaochen is currently working at the Centre for International Manufacturing (CIM), led by Prof Jagjit Singh Srai and Dr Ettore Settanni, on the RASCAL (Resilience in Agrifood Systems Supply Chain Configuration Analytics Lab) project. The project focuses on integrating interdisciplinary data sources and system dynamics modelling to address cascading risks in agri-food supply chains.
Xiaochen’s research interests lie in developing advanced analytical models to solve real-world challenges, with applications in humanitarian operations, warehouse management and broader supply chain design.
Before joining Cambridge, Xiaochen worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Management, University of Bath, contributing to Innovate UK and EPSRC-funded projects. She holds a PhD in Operational Research.
