Dr Tarun Agrawal

Visiting Academic Fellow

Tarun Agrawal is a Visiting Academic Fellow at the University of Cambridge, where he collaborates on research initiatives related to digital transformation, sustainable operations, and the future of supply chains. His work at Cambridge focuses on advancing knowledge in Industry 4.0, production systems, and supply chain digitalisation through interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.

 

He is also an Associate Professor in the Division of Supply and Operations Management at the Department of Technology Management and Economics, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He currently serves as Director of the Master's Programme in Supply Chain Management.

 

Dr. Agrawal holds a Docent degree from Chalmers University of Technology and a Joint Doctorate in Production Automation, Management, and Engineering awarded through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate programme funded by the European Commission. His doctoral studies were conducted jointly at the University of Lille (France), the University of Borås (Sweden), and Soochow University (China). He also holds a Master's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from ENSAIT, France
