This module builds on 3P6 (Organisational behaviour) and 3P7 (managing business and people) to focus on leadership issues in manufacturing firms. This includes the nature of leadership, change management and organising for innovation.
Module learning outcomes
By the end of the module the students should be able to:
- Discuss and evaluate the significance of human factors in the effective implementation and management of business processes;
- Explain the role of leaders as change agents and identify contributors to successful implementation;
- Describe the role of learning and talent management in successful business operations.
