Dr Yin-Chi Chan
Research Associate
Dr. Yin-Chi Chan is a Research Associate in Discrete Event Simulation at the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. His current research includes simulation modelling of hospital systems, with particular focus on the emergency department. Prior to joining the IfM, Dr. Chan was a Research Associate at the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, where he worked on modelling and analysis of telecommunications and service systems.
Dr. Chan obtained his BMath degree at the University of Waterloo in 2010, and his MSc and PhD degrees from the City University of Hong Kong in 2011 and 2017, respectively.
