Yalan is an academic visitor at the Centre for International Manufacturing and the vice dean of Public Administration Institute of the School of Economics&Management in Fuzhou University. She focuses on the Science and Technology Policy and Management and has published 6 academic monographs, over 60 academic papers. She also won many prizes of excellent achievement of social science in China. Yalan’s research at Cambridge has been conducted on the strategy of international manufacturing that arises in the advanced countries. By comparison, she’d look into some rules and tendencies to enlighten other countries as to how they should modify their  manufacturing strategies.
