Xander Stegehuis

visiting PhD researcher

Xander Stegehuis is a visiting PhD researcher at the Cambridge Service Alliance from the University of Twente and Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. His research focuses on the phenomenon of servitization in small and medium-sized manufacturing firms and he investigates how companies interact with external actors in their business network and ecosystem when transforming into a service-oriented business. Specifically, Xander investigates how managers can use agile approaches and business experimentation (i.e., lean startup) when engaging with servitization and how these methods can be used to navigate the external business environment.

Before starting his PhD research, Xander graduated cum laude from the University of Twente where he did the Business Administration MSc program. He also graduated from the Technical University of Berlin where he followed the Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship & Sustainability MSc program.
