Dr Vikrant Bhakar
Vikrant Bhakar is a postdoctoral researcher visiting IfM for three and half months. Vikrant received his Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani (BITS Pilani), India in 2018. Since then he is working as a postdoctoral researcher in the joint research project of Indian Institute Technology Ropar, India and University of Cambridge, UK. He did is his Ph.D. on the sustainability assessment of manufacturing organizations. He is also working in the area of sustainable supply chain management and life cycle assessment (LCA). During his time at IfM, he will be working in the research group of Jag Srai. He will be working on the TIGR2ESS project of University of Cambridge. His research interest in the TIGR2ESS project are value chain mapping, advance technologies, and life cycle sustainability assessment. Along with his Ph.D., he also worked on an Indo-German collaboration for more than 6 years. He was also an active member for development of the Joint Indo-German Experience Lab (JInGEL) at BITS Pilani. He secured the Umberto Student award for his research work on LCA in 2015.
