
Tobias Plank
Visiting Researcher
Tobias joined the IfM as a visiting researcher in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Florian Urmetzer. His research focuses on the application of generative artificial intelligence in manufacturing SMEs. His visit at the IfM is part of his Master’s degree (MSc.) from the Technical University of Munich in Finance- & Information Management. Prior to his studies at TUM, he completed a BSc. in Global Business Management from the University of Augsburg. In his studies and research, Tobias works on the intersection of applied advanced technologies (i.e., artificial intelligence and blockchain) and sustainability. Throughout his research, his goal is to equally drive the sustainable use and use for sustainable development of these technologies by various stakeholders.
