Trev Nicholl has joined IfM Engage as Business Development and Delivery Lead for the Digital Shoestring Unit. In this role, he will lead strategic outreach, build scalable delivery models, and help grow the national impact of the Shoestring programme—supporting productivity, skills development, and job security for SMEs across the UK and beyond.

With a background spanning SaaS, sustainability-led startups, and enterprise sales, he brings extensive experience in consultative selling, C-suite engagement, and programme delivery. He has previously led commercial roles across sectors including chemical manufacturing, AI, and property management, and co-founded a startup focused on decarbonisation.

Outside of work, he is a dedicated road runner , a weekend cyclist, and an active member of his local cricket club.
