Ruhan joined the nanomanufacturing group led by Prof Michael De Volder as a postdoctoral asso. ciate in March 2024. She received her PhD in Wuhan University of Technology, the State Key Laboratory for Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing (China) in 2023. Her research interest are the structure design and mechanism investigation of high-capacity anode materials (silicon-based/lithium metal) towards next generation lithium (ion) batteries with high energy density and high cycling stability. Her current research mainly focuses on the development of electrode with high areal capacities, including the design of high-capacity materials as well as the structuring of thick electrodes.
