Qingsong Weng is a visiting graduate student from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He completed his MSc in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong in 2020. In March 2023, he joined the NanoManufacturing group led by Prof. Michael De Volder. His collaborative Ph.D. program with the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory focuses on synthesizing Ni-rich NCM cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries and enhancing the safety and stability of these materials through surface engineering. Before starting his research work at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Qingsong served as an Assistant Secretary General in the Federation of Guangdong Academicians. He is a member of King's College.
