
Nicolò Trifone is a visiting PhD student at the Supply Chain and Artificial Intelligence Lab (SCAIL) at the University of Cambridge, where he works under the supervision of Professor Alexandra Brintrup at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM). His research is at the forefront of artificial intelligence-driven supply chain automation, focusing on innovative strategies that maximise business value and enhance human-AI collaboration in supply chain management.
He holds an MSc (summa cum laude) and a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from LIUC University, Italy. His academic training included an emphasis on data science, particularly on the use of advanced data analysis algorithms and simulation tools. During his studies, he spent a period studying in Seattle, placing third in the World Arena Simulation Contest.
Nicolò has experience in logistics optimisation, supply chain data analysis and demand forecasting in various advisory projects, in which he has contributed as a consultant and researcher.
