Natalie initially joined the team in June 2022 as a Programme Manager to help lead and coordinate two EIT Food projects which focused on sustainable food systems. This saw her liaising with multiple European Universities and Industry Partners in helping to coordinate world-class student programmes.
Natalie subsequently moved into her current Community Manager role to help promote the team’s vision of embedding sustainability in enterprises. She also provides project support and oversees EIT Food finances across the portfolio of CIS enterprise projects, which helps drive high quality project delivery and funding applications.
Academically, Natalie has had a lifelong passion for climate solutions and sustainability research. With a First-Class degree in Climate Change and Energy Management, Natalie also obtained a MPhil from the University of Cambridge in Holocene Climates in 2021 and volunteered with the EGU Climate Division’s Outreach team for 18 months. She is also a qualified ESL teacher and lived in Vietnam for 4 years where she particularly enjoyed teaching climate science to students. She remains passionate about climate research and aims to utilise this in her role and future projects within the team.
