
Marcus Novotny
Visiting Graduate Student
Marcus has joined Dr Florian Urmetzer as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at the Institute for Manufacturing, focussing on Complexity in Digital Platform Ecosystems.
Following his B.Sc. in ‘Management & Technology’ at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Marcus is currently pursuing a M.Sc. (with honors) in the joint graduate program ‘Finance & Information Management’ at TUM and the universities of Augsburg and Bayreuth. Next to his studies, Marcus has completed an exchange term at the Singapore Management University as well as internships at leading digital technology companies (SAP, Google Cloud). Furthermore, he has co-founded a small innovation consultancy in his Gap Year, leading design thinking projects and workshops for clients such as SKY Germany and TÜV SÜD. Outside of work, Marcus is a passionate singer.
