Mohammed is a PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing, under the supervision of Prof. Steve Evans. Mohammed’s research focuses on industrial decarbonisation strategies, assessing credible pathways for viable decarbonisation. Mohammed’s work involves analysis of technological, economic, and policy-driven approaches to achieve reductions in carbon intensity.
In addition to his focus on industrial decarbonisation strategies, Mohammed also holds an interest in exploring the role of venture capital and private markets in accelerating the development and deployment of technologies aimed at decarbonising hard-to-abate industries.

Mohammed holds a Master’s degree from the University of Leeds in Chemical and Energy Engineering.
