Cadence is a doctoral researcher in the Centre for Industrial Sustainability under the supervision of Prof. Steve Evans. Before starting her PhD, she was a researcher at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, working in life cycle sustainability and developing tools to help industries become environmentally sustainable. Cadence also worked as an environmental engineer at a water engineering company where she designed wastewater treatment processes and developed de-centralized wastewater recycling systems for urban and rural areas. She obtained her BEng from the National University of Singapore in Environmental Science and Engineering. Her research interest is in sustainable business model innovation.
