
Maximilian Ge has joined the Manufacturing Industry Education Research Group as an RA working with Dr Florian Urmetzer on the Pitch-In project that focuses on continuous learning and executive education of internet of things (IoT, Industry 4.0) platforms and related business ecosystems in healthcare, manufacturing and smart cities / government sectors.
Maximilian previously undertook PhD research at CTM in technology acquisition and business models in the tech and biotech industry. He holds an MSc in International Strategy and Economics from the University of St Andrews and read maths and computer science at the University of Cologne.
Prior to joining the IfM Education Group, Maximilian worked at the Cambridge Academy of Therapeutic Sciences, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, the Cambridge Judge Business School Entrepreneurship Centre, the Department of Computer Science and Technology (Computer Lab) and the Engineering Department on various tech and enterprise education programmes. He is also active in the wider Cambridge innovation ecosystem working with entrepreneurs, startups and investors.
