
Kyra is currently part of the integrated 4-year Master's and PhD program in Sensor Technologies and Applications. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry along with a minor in Engineering Mechanics from the University of California, San Diego. Her prior experience includes work on electrochemical sensors for health and performance at the Air Force and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, as well as projects in drug delivery and discovery. Her interests include developing diagnostics that are more affordable and capable of functioning in extreme and remote environments, including in space.
