Kilian joined the Institute for Manufacturing as a Visiting Graduate Student in the Industrial Sustainability group under the supervision of Prof. Nathaniel Cooper. He is investigating how industrial wastewater can be used to recover valuable metals and produce hydrogen, assessing the techno-economic feasibility and designing process models for such integrated systems.
Kilian is a graduate student in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Prior to this, he gained practical experience in manufacturing at Porsche AG, as a management consultant at Porsche Consulting GmbH, and in the development of a start-up in electrolyser manufacturing and hydrogen production.
