
Background
Karolina Kuta is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge. She holds a MSc in Management degree from European Business School, Wiesbaden and a BA degree in Corporate Management and Economics from Zeppelin Universität, Friedrichshafen (Germany). Prior to joining the Institute for Manufacturing, she completed a postgraduate program in Business Innovation at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). As a research associate, Karolina collaborated with and advised large companies on themes related to digitalisation, business model innovation and business ecosystems. Under the supervision of Dr. Florian Urmetzer and Dr. Chander Velu, Karolina is focusing on the development and management of business ecosystems.
In industry Karolina has worked for KPMG ELLP and Porsche as management consultant and project manager. She led C-level projects related to strategic growth, innovation management and was involved in manifold digitalisation projects. She provided professional advice and solutions to several multinational companies as well as governmental organisations overseas and in the Middle East.
