
Jan-Philipp is a Visiting Doctoral Researcher at IfM, working under the supervision of Dr. Letizia Mortara. His research focuses on how emerging technologies can support and enhance innovation processes, with a particular emphasis on improving decision-making around the identification, evaluation, and adoption of new technologies in industrial contexts.
Jan-Philipp is a doctoral candidate at the Technical University of Munich, where his research centers on the digitalization and increasing flexibility of technical change processes in production. He holds an academic background in mechanical engineering and production management and brings several years of industrial experience from his role as a production engineer at Ford Motor Company. Alongside his academic work, he has been involved in applied research and consulting projects with industrial partners, working on transformation initiatives in manufacturing and operations.
