
Irene Piccaluga is a master's student in Management Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin, Italy, specializing in Sustainability and Technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from the University of Pisa. Currently, she is a visiting student at the University of Cambridge, where she is conducting a six-month research project as part of her master’s thesis. Her research focuses on how digital tools and platforms can foster green innovation, particularly in the food and beverage sector. The aim of her study is to explore how green innovation emerges in this industry and how digital platforms can facilitate innovation processes and product development. Irene’s broader research interests include technology management, sustainability, and digitalization, especially in relation to environmentally driven transformations in industry.
