
Dr Hamza Khattak
Visiting Fellow/Postdoc in the Computer-Aided Manufacturing Group
Hamza Khattak is a Visiting Fellow/Postdoc in the Computer-Aided Manufacturing Group of Sebastian Pattinson. He is studying how tactile sensing can augment vision-based AI robotic control models.
Hamza completed his PhD in Physics at McMaster University in Canada where he worked on the driven motion of droplets at the microscale. While at McMaster, Hamza was a coordinator for Let’s Talk Science, running hands-on outreach events for youth throughout the Hamilton region. Hamza held the Vanier Graduate Scholarship during his PhD and is currently a National Science and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC) Postdoctoral Fellow.
