
EXPERTISE
Francisco has expertise in industrial innovation policy, green and digital transformation, and economic analysis. He is particularly interested in how governments can shape technology development and foster resilient and sustainable manufacturing ecosystems.
HIGHLIGHTS
Before joining IfM Engage, Francisco worked as an Economist and Policy Analyst at the OECD, where he led analyses on industrial innovation and critical technologies. He also served at the British Embassy in Lisbon as Digital and Technology Officer and as Economic Adviser, contributing to bilateral cooperation on economic and technology policy.
Francisco holds an MSc in Economics with a specialisation in Public Policy from Nova School of Business and Economics and a BSc in Economics from ISCTE Business School.
