
Fabian Tingelhoff is a Visiting Graduate Researcher at the IfM, supervised by Florian Urmetzer. In his research, he investigates how immersive platforms influence the structures of technology-mediated ecosystems and, consequently, organizational strategies. His research further extends to the ethical design and usage of immersive technologies, encompassing user emancipation and well-being. Fabian has published in various outlets, such as the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, the Journal of Information Technology, and the California Management Review, and in leading academic conferences such as ICIS and AOM.
Fabian is a PhD candidate at the University of St.Gallen. He holds a dual Master’s degree in International Management from Università Bocconi and the CEMS Global Alliance of Business Schools, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Moreover, Fabian holds scholarships from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Association for Information Systems, and the Basic Research Fund of the University of St.Gallen.
