
A chemical engineer by training, in her role as a Senior Policy Analyst Liz provides expertise in:
- government science systems;
- industrial chemistry and chemical engineering;
- assessment and development of policy recommendations;
- GMP and process improvement;
- risk assessment;
- futures and foresight; and
- innovation policy
for the work conducted by Policy Links. She has experience across industrial, non-profit, and government sectors.
Before joining the Policy Links unit, Liz worked in the UK Government Office for Science. Liz started her career as a chemical engineer in a nuclear medicine production facility in Australia. Liz has lectured on various policy and engineering topics at the Wellcome Sanger, AINSE, and Institute of Continuing Education of the University of Cambridge, amongst others, and she has also presented internationally on topics including supply chain optimisation and nuclear medicine.
Liz is completing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK; holds an MSc from Imperial College London, UK; and a BEng(Hons) from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
