
Christine started her PhD in October 2025 at the Institute for Manufacturing (Centre for Technology Management) under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Bohné and Dr. Slawomir Tadeja. As part of her PhD, she explores how AI-integrated XR technologies can enable cognitive load–aware learning systems using multimodal measurements.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Her studies were supported by the Foundation of German Businesses (Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft). She has also worked as a research assistant for Dr. Thomas Bohné on the topic of personalised learning and conducted AR object-tracking research at Mercedes-Benz alongside her studies.
Her PhD is funded by UKRI and the Harding Distinguished Scholars Programme (2025).
