
Cassandra is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr Florian Urtmetzer in the Ecosystems, Platform, and Strategy Research Group. She is a member of Christ’s College and an R&D Management Association (RADMA) Doctoral Studies Scholar. Her research focuses on policy development for disruptive technologies.
Before joining the IfM in January 2023, she earned a Master’s degrees from the University of Chicago (Public Policy with a Certificate in Finance) and the University of Cambridge (Politics and International Studies). She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating two years early with a dual major in Political Science and History, summa cum laude, as part of the Honors College.
With a background in policy, geopolitics, and entrepreneurship, Cassandra brings an interdisciplinary lens to the challenges of governing emerging technologies in dynamic regulatory and strategic contexts.
