Andre Gomes is a PhD student in Business Administration at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), where he also completed his Master's degree in Business Administration. His current research focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence in strategic planning and Strategic Roadmapping. Andre is using data mining and Large Language Models, including BERTopic, ChatGPT, and GPT-4, to develop data-driven and augmented roadmaps. This innovative work aims to enhance strategic planning processes through the novel application of topic modeling and Generative Artificial Intelligence methodologies in Roadmapping.
Additionally, Andre has explored the cognitive dimensions of strategic management by researching the divergence between managers' perceptions of the past and the future within university organizations, employing coincidence analysis (CNA) to uncover patterns in the mental maps of company strategists. Andre has a solid background in data engineering using Python, data science with R, data analysis with SQL, and machine learning with MATLAB.
