Webinar: Optimizing the Electrolux Global Manufacturing Network
In partnership with the Manufacturing Leadership Council
Over the last few years Frank Wagner has led an ambitious $380 million global transformation programme for Swedish-based Electrolux, the world’s second largest home appliance maker, covering 35 plants across five continents serving customers in over 150 countries.
Guided by research-based transformation frameworks developed by the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and an industrial consortium of global manufacturers, Electrolux restructured its global manufacturing footprint to deliver 25% cost savings, introduced advanced automation technologies across its factories reducing labour overheads by 30% and reducing build time from 61 to just 40 minutes, and embarked on an extensive program to digitalise its end-to-end manufacturing supply chain.
Join us for this special collaborative Manufacturing Leadership Council/IfM webinar to learn more about Electrolux’s strategic approach, how it turned ideas into action, the challenges it faced, and the IfM’s 10-point transformation framework on Thursday, February 20 @11am.
