Many international organisations are taking part in the University of Cambridge research including Halliburton and Subsea 7. Organisations interested in participating have until 31 July to register their interest.

About the survey

A senior representative from each organisation will take part in a survey to consider capabilities against an Innovation and Technology Management (ITM) framework developed at the IfM. The confidential assessments will be used to develop a paper that has been accepted as an abstract proposal to the R&D Management Conference 2018. This paper will:

  • Examine the ITM processes within the selected group of oil & gas exploration and service companies, presenting a picture of performance trends and issues;
  • Discuss the trends and issues and their significance, particularly for organisations that strive to remain at the cutting edge of innovation.

Participating organisations will also receive a tailored report of their assessment which can be used to inform decisions and priorities for developing ITM capabilities.
