Hi-Wi project awarded poster prize at REPM'12 conference
David Hopkinson, 3rd year PhD student of the Centre for Industrial Photonics, attended the 22nd international workshop on rare earth permanent magnets and their applications (REPM’12) in Nagasaki, Japan, to present work done on the HIWI project on the laser annealing of nanocomposite rare earth magnetic materials. The work was well received and commended for its innovation with the best poster presentation award.
