Bill ColquhounBackgroundBill Colquhoun spent 32 years with Shell Chemicals Companies in a number of different management roles. He has experience of setting up and running a successful business development group which introduced a number of new businesses to Shell. He was a senior manager in Shell Chemicals Europe which included P&L responsibility for a major Product business and a significant business re-structuring role. He was the Vice President of two of Shell Chemicals Global Product businesses, first in Polymer and Detergent Intermediate Products and then their Base Chemical Products business. These roles included, among others, responsibility for the manufacturing strategy and major capital construction projects. Bill joined the IfM in June 2006 and his main focus is the Chemicals Sector where he leads projects with partner companies aimed at putting IfM research output into practice. |
