Shayma Salih

Doctoral Student/Solution Development Specialist

Shayma is nearing the completion of her doctoral research in the Centre for Industrial Sustainability under the supervision of Prof. Steve Evans. Her research is focused on improving the sustainability and resilience of supply chains based on an enhanced understanding of trust. As part of her research, she has developed a tool that operationalises B2B trust for more resilient, robust, and sustainable supply chains, capable of withstanding disruption. In addition to her research, she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students at Cambridge University Engineering Department and the Cambridge Judge Business School.

 

Shayma has worked on a number of consultancy projects including; A circular approach to procurement for a leading chemicals company and decarbonisation strategies for a mainstream car manufacturer, with specific focus on scope three emissions. She is currently working as a Solution Development Specialist at IfM Engage.

Supply Chain Sustainability, Trust, Supply Chain Resilience, Systems Resilience, Systems Engineering, Disruption & Business Strategy.
