Background

Nipat has a BEng (1st class honours) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, after which he worked for PTT plc, the national oil and gas company. He then joined the MPhil Industrial Systems, Manufacturing and Management course (ISMM, course 44) in 2009. As part of the ISMM, he worked with the DIAL research group in a topic of engineering asset management for his dissertation.

He is now researching for a PhD; looking at maintenance optimisation under the supervision of Dr Ajith K Parlikad.
